Born in 1962 in Hochdorf, Switzerland, jewelry designer Patrik Muff grew up as the son of artisans in a highly creative environment surrounded by hammers, nails and saws. After completing an apprenticeship as a goldsmith, he studied art in Cologne, where he came into contact with important representatives of the art scene. This was followed by study visits to New York and London, the opening of the jewelry store "4th King" with Klaus Arck and Marie von Chamier, teaching positions at the FH Pforzheim and at the Salzburg Summer Academy. He has been running his jewelry studio in Munich for a good 20 years. He has created two jewelry lines for Nymphenburg: Essentials, inspired by historical designs from the manufactory, and Treasures, which plays with mystical elements of oceanic cultures.
