Nymphenburg 2 in 1 Vase "MUSU" designed by Felix Poettinger (Germany)

This elegant vase "Musu" by Nymphenburg is suitable for medium-sized bouquets, but also small arrangements, because the interesting thing about the "Musu" vase is that it can be used either from above or below, depending on whether you feel like a colorful bouquet of flowers or a few fancy solitaires. One side offers a larger opening than the other.

The fine grooves on the perfectly modelled vase body create a delicate play of light and shadow on the matte bisque porcelain. Inside, the "Musu" vase is covered with a protective glaze. Its name, as designer Felix Pöttinger himself explains, is derived from the form function: "M" stands for "MANY", "S" for "SINGLE" and the "U" reflects the shape of the vase.

Felix Pöttinger is a multidisciplinary designer based in Munich, Germany. He has developed products and experiences for some of the leading companies in the design field such as Auerberg, Bora, BMW, Hansgrohe, Sony Music Germany and many more. His work won various international design awards and was part of events and exhibitions at the V&A London, Design Museum London, Mint Gallery London, MAK Hamburg, Salone del Mobile Milan and London Design Festival.
